A Cohasset Wedding

Bridesmaids

The ladies will be wearing Watters and Watters style 2422 in navy dupioni silk.  Earrings and necklaces have been custom ordered from Etsy seller CindyV with quartz crystal teardrops and swarovski pearls.  Each maid will wear silver shoes of her choice.  My sister, the Maid of Honor, will wear a different earring, maybe these  mother of pearl inlaid plugs purchased (EBay).

Groom and Groomsmen...

The men will be wearing a black wool cutaway ("morning") coat with charcoal and black pinstripe pants (the pants shown on the left are solid black).  All will wear a dark grey vest (similar to the one at left) and a black/grey diagonal stripe tie over a white wing-collar shirt.

Bridal Gown

Here's a sneak peak from the fitting.  My gown is a Pronovias "Harlem."  It's ivory with a ruched, fitted bodice to the hip and a chapel-length train.  It has a 6-point (I think) French bustle.

Bridal Accessories

Veil:

My wonderful friend and bridesmaid Mary is letting me borrow her ivory, cathedral length veil.  It's a single tier veil with a cut edge.  It's beautiful, and I couldn't be more grateful.  Under the veil and at the reception, I'll be wearing a flower and feather fanscinator  in my hair (pictured below, and purchased from Virginia Geiger Jewels on Etsy).

Stole:

On the walk back from the church and during some of our outdoor pictures, I'll be wearing a blond, vintage mink stole.

Jewelry:

I've gone through a lot of jewelry ideas.  I had originally intended to wear the earrings below from Nordstrom (they're 3/4" CZ teardrops).  However, I then switched to the "Elise" earring from White Aisle because I thought they'd make a bit more of a statement.  When they arrived in the mail, they were smaller than I expected.  Eventually, I decided to wear a bracelet and pearl earrings  with a touch of crystal.  I am honored to wear a double-strand pearl necklace that belonged to my fiance's grandmother, who passed away last winter.   I'll use the brooch below (also from White Aisle) to keep my mink stole closed.

Shoes:

My shoes are Grace "Amare" slingback heels in candlelight (ivory).  They're very comfortable.  A great EBay deal!

Purse:

I love EBay!  I wanted a purse that I could use again, not something in satin.  I found this great little Coach "Hamptons" wristlet in cream pebbled leather on EBay brand new.  Winning bid?  $26.

Garter:

Purchased online from Sew Unique wedding garters, I've had a half Illinois, half Nebraska garter made for my fiance (he's an alum of Illinois, but a lifelong Nebraska fan).  An example (albeit Michigan/Michigan State) is shown below.

Rehearsal/Rehearal Dinner:
