A Cohasset Wedding

Floral design...

We're working with a small shop in Pembroke, Massachusetts that came recommended by a friend who'd just used them for her daughter's wedding.  The Candy Jar will be designing all of our wedding party flowers as well as the few flowers we'll have at the church and our reception centerpieces.  We met to plan and share some of our ideas over Labor Day weekend.  It was great!

We'll be carrying hand-tied bouquets of cream-colored roses and blue hydrangeas with white lissianthus and dark blue delphinium.  The stems will be wrapped in ribbon to coordinate with our gowns.  Our reception centerpieces will be an even split of  narrow, 24"  branch-based pieces (birch and evergreen with blue bayberries) and 10"  cylindrical vases with wreathes of mounded roses, hydrangea and greens (a floating candle will provide a soft glow).  I'd initially hoped to use lanterns for the shorter arrangements, but they have proven too difficult to find affordably.  As a disclaimer, the majority of the ideas below are from other brides on theknot.com (though the wreathes are mine).    If I've failed to credit you for your image, please don't hesitate to let me know.
